A JMBM team representing real estate, construction, corporate, tax and land use capabilities advised the California State Automobile Association (CSAA) in a complex sale and leaseback transaction that allowed the organization to successfully move to new headquarters. We first advised CSAA in their negotiations for a 255,000 square-foot, six-story build-to-suit lease with a purchase option in Station Landing at Contra Costa Centre, California. After the build-to-suit transaction was completed with a purchase option, we helped our client come full-circle with the successful sale and leaseback of CSAA’s former headquarters in San Francisco.
